Capital & Main Wins 12 Prizes at Southern California Journalism Awards
Capital & Main won 12 prizes at the 60th annual Southern California Journalism Awards, announced June 24. The awards were presented by the Los Angeles Press Club, one of the nation’s oldest and largest professional media organizations.
Winning first place were Gabriel Thompson’s “After the Inferno, Undocumented Workers Find Themselves Without Federal Help” (for Online Cultural News) and Judith Lewis Mernit’s “All About EVs: Why There Isn’t a Ford in Your Future” (for Online Non-Political Commentary).
Capital & Main took second place in the prestigious Website/News Organization Exclusive to the Internet category, and doubled its number of awards over 2017.
