The Adelanto Detention Facility is again in the center of controversy, allegedly using protests taking place outside the facility as an excuse to mistreat detainees.
It is one of the largest detention centers in the country and over the years, it has faced numerous allegations both for its inadequate care and for using excessive force on its detainees. And now the Adelanto Detention Facility, located in the high desert of California’s San Bernardino County, is at the center of an explosive new controversy.
