Tony Barboza

Barboza leads Capital & Main’s newsroom and oversees editorial content produced by its team of editors, reporters and contributors. He is a veteran journalist who worked for 18 years at the Los Angeles Times as a reporter and, later, as a member of the editorial board. His reporting on air pollution, climate change, extreme heat and other environmental issues has won awards and resulted in changes to law and policy. He also serves on the board of the Society of Environmental Journalists.
